These terms apply when a merchant installs or uses GPSR Compass.

1. The service
GPSR Compass is operated by SJL Ventures ApS (CVR 46390733), Allégade 23, 1., 5000 Odense C, Denmark. The app helps merchants collect, review, and display product-safety information in Shopify. Support is available at sofus@wakey.dk.
2. Not legal advice
GPSR Compass is a workflow and information tool, not a legal certification or legal advice. The merchant remains responsible for assessing applicable rules, product safety, documentation, labels, warnings, recalls, and information shown to customers. Specialist or legal advice can still be necessary.
3. Access and acceptable use
Users must have authority to act for the connected Shopify shop and must keep their Shopify account secure. The service must not be used unlawfully, to infringe third-party rights, disrupt the service, or attempt unauthorized access. Information entered into the app must be accurate and lawful to use.
4. Plans and payment
Available plans, prices, billing periods, and trials are displayed on Shopify’s hosted pricing page before approval. Shopify handles subscription approval, payment, changes, and cancellation. Features can change when a subscription is upgraded, downgraded, expires, or is cancelled.
5. Merchant data and Shopify changes
The merchant controls information written to Shopify products and is responsible for reviewing changes before publication. Shopify themes, APIs, permissions, product availability, and third-party services can affect results. Our handling of personal data is described in the privacy policy.
6. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the service reliable but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Maintenance, security incidents, Shopify changes, and provider outages can temporarily affect the service. We can update features and these terms, and will identify the latest terms by the revision date above.
7. Intellectual property
The merchant keeps ownership of its information. GPSR Compass, including its software, design, and original content, remains owned by its operator or licensors. The merchant receives a limited right to use the service while the app is installed and the applicable plan is active.
8. Ending use and liability
The merchant can end use by cancelling a paid plan and uninstalling the app. To the extent permitted by law, GPSR Compass is not liable for indirect loss or for decisions made solely from automated checks. Nothing in these terms limits liability or rights that cannot legally be limited.
